How To Tell If You Are a True Harry Potter Fan

I'm sure most of you out there have read the Harry Potter books before. Sure, you may have read the books once or twice, but are you a true Harry Potter fan? Will you stick with Undesirable Number One till death do you part? Here's ten ways to find out. If you say yes to at least seven of these, then you can be sure that you are a true Harry Potter fan, hands down.

1. You own all of the Harry Potter books. You may have read them at the library, but have you really made that commitment of proudly displaying your HP collection on your shelf?









 2. You continually make Harry Potter references than only you understand. "Hey, guys, a Pensive for your thoughts?"

3. You reenact Harry Potter conversations you've memorized with just you and your hand.









4. You fall in love with characters from the book--don't lie. It's happened to us all.

5. You mourn the deaths of the characters you cherish. Dobby, Dumbledore, Snape--you could cry a river. Readers, beware--stock up on tissues.



6. Every summer you obsessively check the mail, looking for your Hogwarts acceptance letter. Maybe they just sent it late!



7. When you visit the reptile house in a zoo, you first check to make sure the snake isn't a basilisk. Then you stare at the glass, trying to free the snake and speak in Parseltongue.




8. You reread the series so much that you can quote the beginning and end.






9. If your mom hands you clothes, you swing the clothes around your head and dance, shouting, "You have presented me with clothes! I am FREEEEEE!"



10. You have a large collection of Harry Potter memorabilia: an eagle quill here, a couple of robes there, and that stick you found in the yard that looks like a wand.
