Hi guys! How was your day? Mine was rather boring, up until about an hour ago. I had two things going on at the same time, so I had to go half-and-half. My life suddenly went from boring and uneventful to crazy. What's the craziest day you've ever had? I think the craziest day I've ever had was when we were driving through Wyoming one time. Of course, as it was in December, there was a big blizzard and it was a wonder our van didn't crash and fall right off of the 17,890 foot high mountain we were on. But it was crazy as it was.

I have two things on my agenda to tell you... anything else is just rambling and I ought to get better at not going off topic so much. Surprisingly, I don't talk nearly as much as I write, which I guess kind of makes sense because I write much more than I talk. I'm not much of a conversationalist. Wow. I was rambling just by telling you I tend to ramble.

Anyway, first item of business: buttons. No, I'm not talking about the annoying type of button that pops off of your sweater when you strain it too much. I'm trying to create a button for my blog so that I can add it along with other people's buttons onto my blog, and we can button-swap (I think that's the blogger term for it). If you're interested in button-swapping with me, let me know. I'll tell you guys when I have the button designed. It will be on a separate page, so keep a lookout for that, too.

Second thing: The Writing Games. Sorry I didn't post the new topic yesterday; I was preoccupied with other things. Remember, the topics and announced winners will be on this page, but you will publish your written responses in the comments of 'The Writing Games' page. Here's the new topic:

Beep, beep, beep. I reached over to my bedside table to shut my alarm off. Then I laid still for a moment, butterflies dancing in my stomach. Today was a very big day.

Your job is to start your response with these sentences and then continue the story, making it as interesting as possible. I will post the topic in another post, too, so that if you don't feel like going back to this post for the topic you can just find the other one.

Cheers, Lydia
