Q&A

I was nominated by Nicole to answer a couple of questions (I don't know what it's called, but people keep doing it so I suppose it has some sort of name?). Here are the questions and answers:

Do you own a teddy bear?
Several, but they're in the garage somewhere and I can't find them. At one point I had quite the collection, though.

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?
I don't know... it would have to be the time when I stayed up ALL night and then fell asleep the next afternoon. According to my mother, I was delirious when I woke up and said a bunch of crazy stuff, including something about chicken feathers on a new pair of shiny leather shoes.

Do you have any pets?
Yes, an old, grouchy demon dog; she's a mix between a Jack Russell and a chihuahua and so is really tiny but really mean. I'm basically the only person she likes, and the only person who likes her. When we first got her, we used to have to go up our driveway to get packages in the mail, because she actually tried to kill the UPS guy and he's been scared ever since.

Who is your favorite character from Heroes of Olympus?
I actually haven't read those books. I read one Percy Jackson book and didn't like it that much, so I didn't start that series. But the people on the cover of the first book looked pretty cool, so I'll choose them! ;)

Who is your all time favorite book character?
How could you ask me that? It's like asking me to choose a favorite child or a favorite chocolate company. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! But if I had to, I might choose either Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, Dumbledore from Harry Potter, Keefe from Keeper of the Lost Cities, or Saphira from Eragon.

How many dresses do you have?
I'm not a big fan of dresses; I prefer shirt and skirt. But I own three, and one that I have to grow into.

Do you own an iPhone? 
Yes, but it doesn't function a phone. I have my mom's old iPhone, and use it as an iPod.

What is your favorite book series?
My all-time favorite has to be Harry Potter. But Keeper of the Lost Cities is a close second, followed by Lord of the Rings, Eragon, and (don't laugh) the Magic Treehouse series.

On a scale of one to ten, how much do you like books?
100. Ten isn't enough.

What is your favorite song?
Take Flight, by Lindsey Stirling.

Have you read Keeper of the Lost Cities?
Oh, yes! Quite recently, actually. Thanks to Nicole, I have a new love in life. :)
