Great news, guys!
Thanks to the posts of several bloggers and the encouragement of several writing friends, I am now signed up for NaNoWriMo! YAY!!!
50,000 words in one month--what a challenge! Although, I have to admit, I've already got a teeny tiny head start as I've already written a couple of pages of my novel and am using NaNoWriMo as an incentive to finish it. Hopefully, my strategy works--I really, really like this novel idea!
If you would like to sign up for NaNoWriMo and you haven't already, here's a link to the website. Signing up is free, so do it!
Also, my BIBPC entry is due tomorrow, so I figured I'd better go ahead and post it. I rather procrastinated on this topic, because we don't really have a lot of weeds in our yard. But I finally noticed that a rather tall weed had grown in our potted plant on our porch, and I thought, why not? Hey, that rhymed! But you know how it works: here's a link, and I hope you like my picture!
Also, I have some super exciting news! My fellow blogger, Nicole, and I are doing a super fun, totally awesome event on our colab blog, The Bookworm's Domain. I won't tell you what it is yet, but I know you book lovers are really, really going to like it! Check out our blog here, and keep an eye out for the announcement of the event.
That's all for now! Smiles,
-Lydia
