Between cooking, cleaning, and resting my hands I haven't had much time to write anything, but I've found a sort of eye in the hurricane that is my family's Thanksgiving, and so here I am! What will you be having for dinner? On the menu for me is turkey, sweet potato soufflé, rolls, seven layer bean dip, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn, jello, pecan pie, apple pie, and ice cream, among other things. It's going to be quite the feast, which is a good thing, because we have five more people coming, meaning that ten very hungry people will be squished at a five-seater table in my tiny house. Oh joy.
Has anyone gone to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? I've seen it twice, and it's AMAZING. I think it's the best movie I've ever seen in my entire life. I won't say much more, as I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that I'm super excited because I found out they're making four more movies for Fantastic Beasts! (Pause for a moment while I go and dance around excitedly, screaming incoherently)
Since it's Thanksgiving, here's a list of he things I'm ever so grateful for:
-my friends and family
-J.K. Rowling
-Shannon Messenger
-the woods
-our safety from the wildfires
-the woods
-libraries
-our free country
-my human rights
-school
-sweaters!
-emotional therapy (because trust me, after reading, sometimes I really need it!)
-soccer (and Quidditch)
Well, there's the oven timer, meaning my little break is over...back to the kitchen!
Smiles,
Olivia
